On 2nd of Khordad 1385, (May 23, 2006) on marking commemoration for the martyrs and veterans of the 8 year war between Iran and Iraq, and the triumph of iranian soldiers in Khoramshahr, a glorious ceremony was hold in Tehran.
PRESIDENT Mahmud Ahmadi Nejad, some ministers and mps participated in this ceremony.
The chief rabbi of Jewish community, Yossef Hamedani Cohen, the Jewish MP, Morris Motamed, the head of Jewish Committee and some Jewish authorities took part the ceremony.
President appreciated Dr. Jahanbakhsh Ghahremani the Jewish veteran, who lost his feet in war in 1985.
He has earned his PHD after war.
